MATADOR, CAPITOL TO PART WAYS - WHAT ABOUT LIZ?
According to the April 3 issue of Billboard, Matador Records and Capitol Records are ending their three-year relationship, and Matador's founding partners will again assume complete ownership of the label. After a financial settlement with Capitol, Gerard Cosloy and Chris Lombardi, who founded the company in 1989, will again control 100% of Matador, as well as the rights and contracts to all the labels acts except Liz Phair. [Thanks to Jason Long for the information.]

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Columbus show on April 20th has been cancelled. However, it might be rescheduled at the end of this tour, so don't fret yet! (Thanks to Julia Rios for the information straight from Liz's own mouth!)
The April 26th El Cajon, CA show was erroneously reported -- it is actually Greenville, NC. The April 28th State College, PA (Crowbar) show has been moved to May 5th, while the April 28th venue has changed to New York City, NY (Loeb Student Union). The May 5th Louisville, KY (Headliners Music Hall) show will probably be rescheduled on one of the TBA dates.
Liz is touring with a full band, and she has performed two new compositions: "Firewalker" and "Don't Apologize".
[Thanks to Russ Waterhouse at Matador Records, Jenny Sayler, Robbie McCown, Redprez98, Paul Erickson, and Meredith Robbins for the information. Also, I'd like to thank T.K. and John Deeth for correcting the location of the April 14th show.]
